Louis Zorich (born February 12, 1924) is an American actor. He is perhaps best known to television audiences for his portrayal of Paul Reiser's father, Burt Buchman, on the NBC series Mad About You. He played the role from 1993 to 1999.

Anna (Michelle Williams) is a young woman in an American suburb in the early 1950s. She is disturbed by her family’s rejection of her brother, a World War II veteran who comes home shell shocked. Also, her small town is buzzing about it when Dr. Harold Ashton, the foremost practitioner of this brand of lobotomy, comes to town. Freddy Benson, petit escroc qui vit en plumant des femmes crédules, arrive à Beaumont-sur-Mer sur la Côte d'Azur. Freddy se fait passer pour handicapé qui a perdu l'usage de ses jambes pour une raison psychologique. Lawrence se fait passer pour le médecin capable de le soigner, et dont les honoraires s'élèvent à cinquante mille dollars. Janet est poussée à accepter de payer. Durant l'arnaque, Lawrence se rend compte que Janet est en réalité désargentée, et qu'elle a vendu ses biens pour accumuler la somme. Freddy et Lawrence décident alors de ne plus la faire payer, et le pari est modifié pour porter sur la capacité de Freddy d'avoir une relation sexuelle avec Janet.
