Lally Cadeau was born on January 10, 1948, in Burlington, Ontario and has been a professional actor since 1974. An accomplished stage, television, film and radio actor, she has been a mainstay with the Stratford Festival since 1997. Miss Cadeau was in two television series; the CBC's Hangin' In, and Sullivan Entertainment's The Road to Avonlea.
Since 1980, she has been the recipient of many nominations and awards, including a Bijou, a Genie, 2 Geminis, and 2 Dora Mavor Moore awards. These were for her work in Harvest; You've Come a Long Way, Katie; The Road to Avonlea, and the stage plays; Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Rose.

Since 1977 she has been with Robin Weatherstone, with whom she's raised a daughter and 2 sons.

Her work for the Stratford Festival has included the roles of Filumena, Juno Boyle, Jean Brodie, Mrs van Damm, The Duchess of York, The Nurse, and Lottie Childs.

Max Renn (James Woods) dirige une chaine de télévision racoleuse. Il ne vit que pour la télévision, passe des heures à visionner de nouveaux programmes et lorsque sa secrétaire lui rappelle ses rendez-vous du jour, c'est par le biais d'une cassette vidéo. Interviewé sur une autre chaine pour défendre sa vision de l'influence des programmes pornographiques à la télévision, il rencontre une très belle femme, animatrice radio, Nicki Brand (Debbie Harry, par ailleurs chanteuse du groupe Blondie), la séduit sur le plateau et en direct pendant qu'une troisième personne explique ses positions. Cette troisième personne est un dénommé Brian O'Blivion (Jack Creley), dont le nom est jeu de mot : oblivion signifie oubli en anglais.
