Biographie
David Mendenhall was born in Oceanside, California. He performed voice acting in animated movies and TV series, like Rainbow Brite, The Berenstain Bears, and most notably The Transformers: The Movie. He performed an award-winning role from 1979-1986 as young Mike Webber in General Hospital. At age 15, Mendenhall got a role with Sylvester Stallone in Over the Top, about a long haul truck driver who tries to win back his alienated son while becoming a champion arm wrestler. He also appeared in the 1990 movie Streets with Christina Applegate.Mendenhall has a degree in law. His sister Marissa has also been an actress since childhood.

Lincoln Hawk est un très modeste routier pratiquant le bras de fer. Son ex femme Christina Cutler-Hawk est issue d'une famille bourgeoise ayant rejeté Lincoln. Gravement malade, cette dernière lui demande de s'occuper de leur fils Michael qu'il n'a pas vu depuis dix ans. The movie begins with Bruce in Houston on a search for the American G.I. that helped the young Bruce when he was just a child in Korea. With little more than a name and a fuzzy memory of his hero, Bruce is determined to find G.I. Ernie Brown to thank and repay him with an antique Korean vase. After following a few dead end leads, Bruce meets the students of a local karate studio who introduce him to their martial arts master, Master McLean. Thinking Bruce to be a karate master, McLean convinces Bruce to run the studio in his place while he takes care of some business. The story begins with Captain C.F.
