Aux Bahamas, deux jeunes hommes tombent amoureux l'un de l'autre. Johnny, un étudiant en beaux arts maladroit, est "envoyé" par son professeur dans l'île lointaine de Eleuthera, afin qu'il se concentre sur son travail et qu'il trouve sa voix artistique. il y rencontre Romeo, un beau garçon sûr de lui, qui lui fait visiter les sites pittoresques, et un peu plus... Ce drame romantique dépeint l'homophobie de la société des Bahamas et aborde aussi le thème de la bisexualité. Il est l'un des premiers longs métrages caraïbéens traitant d'homosexualité.
